समय का पहिया
आपके साथ बिताये पलों को
हम हमेशा याद करेंगे
चले जाने पे भी जो टूटे नहीं
वही तो दिलों का रिश्ता है|
एक पंछी हूँ जहाँ उसका ठिकना है
कुछ पल गम के और,
अनेक पल खुशियों की सौगात लिए
फिर उड़े जा रहा हूँ मैं
नम्म आँखों में दुआ लिए
कहते हैं हम अलविदा
इस महफ़िल में रहे या न रहे
यह वादा है आपसे
आपके दिलों में हम अपनी
जगह ज़रूर बनाये रखेंगे|
समय पर टिपण्णी
समय के आगे न किसी का बस चलता है न आगे कभी चलेगा| समय का पहिया अपनी हि गति से चलता है और पूरे ब्रह्माण्ड को चलता है| हम सब इसके आधीन है और इसके नियमों को मान कर आगे चलते हैं| जो समय की कदर नहीं करता समय भी उसकी कदर नहीं करता और उसको पीछे छोड़ आगे बढ़ जाता है| यह कविता मेरे पति के विदाई के लिए बनाई गई थी। अंग्रेजी अनुवाद नीचे दिया गया है।

samay ke aage na kisee ka bas chalata hai na aage kabhee chalega| samay ka pahiya apanee hi gati se chalata hai aur poore brahmaand ko chalata hai| ham sab isake aadheen hai aur isake niyamon ko maan kar aage chalate hain| jo samay kee kadar nahin karata samay bhee usakee kadar nahin karata aur usako peechhe chhod aage badh jaata hai| yah kavita mere pati ke vidaee ke lie banaee gaee thee. angrejee anuvaad neeche diya gaya hai.
samay ka pahiya
aapke saath bitaaye palon ko
ham hamesha yaad karenge
chale jaane pe bhee jo toote nahin
vahee to dilon ka rishta hai
ek panchhee hoon jahaan usaka thikana hai
kuchh pal gam ke aur,
anek pal khushiyon kee saugaat lie
phir ude ja raha hoon main
namm aankhon mein dua lie
kahate hain ham alavida
is mahafil mein rahe ya na rahe
yah vaada hai aapase
aapake dilon mein ham apanee
jagah zaroor banaaye rakhenge
Wheels of Time
Moments spent with you,
I shall always remember
And the ones that don’t break
Away even after leaving,
That, my friends, is the
Relationship of the hearts.
Like a bird the universe
Is my home,
Memories of a few moments
Of sorrow
And several moments
Of happiness
I take away with myself
As I spread my wings
To fly away again
With moist eyes as I bid adieu
This promise
I commit to you today
That whether I remain
Amidst you or not
I shall reside
In your hearts forever.

Nobody walks ahead of time nor will ever be able to do so. The wheel of time moves at its own pace and runs the whole universe. All of us are under its control and follow the rules of time. He who does not appreciate the time is not appreciated by time itself and is left behind. This poem was composed for my husband’s farewell. An English translation is given above.
