Courage is what, it takes to stand up and speak, and courage is also what, it takes to sit down and listen.

Hey, the one who is reading, Jessica Kaur is just 16 but loves taking risks.

She has stood 3rd in the National online Story Telling Contest held on RNTalks Official page from 22nd June 2020 to 25th June 2020.

The results were announced on 28th June 2020.

Life for her is a beautiful journey. She believes that if you live in the present, it is because the past is gone, and the future has not arrived yet.

She is just a simple school girl and a little bit naughty too.

She is a versatile personality and loves to take part in different activities, and books are her best friend.

Football is her passion. According to Jessica, “if football has taught me anything, it is that you can overcome come anything if and only if you love something enough.”

Achievements and failures are only two normal things, but the game you play and enjoyment you get while you are at it matters the most.

She always appreciates herself for her achievements and for her failures too.

Jessica feels that life is so much simpler when you stop explaining yourself to people and justifying your actions.

She says, “do what works for you; this is what I do in my life, I never justify myself. I never try to be perfect. I just try to be real.”

She feels that she is an odd combination of too good and too bad; she is working on herself for herself by herself.

She says, “when I look back on my life, I see many mistakes and heartaches, but When I look in the mirror, I see strength, learnt lessons.”

She knows that she had made mistakes in past, but still she has the courage to fight. She is a strong enough young lady who dares to face the whole world.

Sometimes she feels proud of herself because she has a lot of work to do as she stays busy in her work but still finds some “me time’ for herself.

She feels that people have competitions with others, but there is she herself. She competes with herself.

“I never try to be better than anyone else, I try to be better than myself cause I want to be the best version of me,” she says.

Jessica is fond of psychology, and somewhere deep down in her heart, she knows that she’ll achieve her goals.
