International Women’s Day 2018, Pride Of Women Award
Surprises are always welcome…And this is what happened to me when I got a message followed by a call from the Aagaman Ek Khubsoorat Shuruat co-founder and founder Mrs. Ranjeeta Ashesh and Mr. Pawan Jain that I have been selected for the ‘Pride Of Women Award’ on the occasion of International Women’s Day 2018.
A Dream Come True
It was my distant dream that had come true. To be awarded on a Pan India Scale by a happening Literary Group of Delhi.
Being an army officer’s wife and wedded to olive green I had learnt how to fly. But Aagaman gave me the wind beneath my wings and helped me to fly and glide better.
Aagaman was the best thing to happen to me and I’m forever thankful for my destiny that brought me to Aagaman.
Aagaman Ek Khubsoorat Shuruwat
While Aagaman Ek Khubsoorat Shuruat headed by founder Mr. Pawan Jain, caters to the literary acumen of the seasoned poets Aagaman Arrival Of Dreams headed by co-founder Mrs. Ranjeeta Ashesh, caters to the tastes of the youths of today giving them a platform to showcase their talent on a national level.
This award given to me on the International Women’s Day motivates me to work harder and better in the literary field as well as in my work of rescuing and taking care of stray animals that happen to come my way.
In the next year, I plan to take premature retirement from the field of education and mentoring and delve full-fledged into my passion for writing, blogging and working with animal NGOs.
The 10th March 2018, International Women’s Day will be a day for me to cherish for the next coming years.
