RNG: Good morning Shikha, it’s great to be chatting with you here, could you start by telling us a bit about yourself? 🙂
Shikha: Good morning, mai science ke student rhi hu ,kuchh smay ke liye teaching ke profession se judi ,thoda time research field ko diya ab house maker ke saath mai blogging poorey utsah ke saath karti hu hmesha positive rahne ke koshish karti hu aur Hindi mai likhti hu uska sbse bda karan shayad meri upbringing Madhya Pradesh mai hui jaha aaj bhi Hindi bhasha ko poora samman milta hai.
RNG: Wow, a science student and a teacher too. from being a researcher to being a mentor and a homemaker and being brought up in Madhya Pradesh I think you have covered it all. Can you tell us about your blog, and what inspired you to start it? 🙂
Shikha: Mera blog merey bachhey jaisa hai, jismey aapko vividhta dikhegi, mai life ko simple tareekey se observe karne ke baad apni post likhti hu, mujhe bachho se pyar hai isliye aapko meri post mai bachha bhi jhankta hua milega .
RNG: That’ s so beautifully said. Equating your blog to your child who grows as you nurture it with varied subjects as we do with the diet of our kids. You are an excellent wordsmith and can comfortably write in Hindi language. So when did you first realise you wanted to be a writer?
Shikha: Mai apni post hindi mai he likhti hu, kabhi kabhi jeevan mai aisa samay aata hai jb inssan khud ko bhool jata hai apni capibility par sandeh karta hai, merey saath bhi aisa he hua aur us smay merey likhney ke shauk ne mujhe disha dikhayi aur mainey AUGUST 2016 se finally WordPress par apni post likhna shuru kiya .
RNG: This is so profound. I guess we all go through a phase of self-discovery in our lives and then embark on a journey to follow our passion. For you, August 2016 has been the turning point… Each individual has his own style of working, how would you describe your own personal style?
Shikha: Life ko apni taraf se jada complicated nhi bnana chahiye, jitna hlka dimag rahta hai utni sarlta se aap apney writing ke madhyam se logo ke beech mai apni baat pahucha saktey hai.
RNG: Now this is one thing I absolutely agree with, no point complicating life which is already in a complex form. So we should strive to be happy and convey our feelings in a simpler way. Either by writing or by talking. Where do you find the inspiration for your blog posts? What is your motivation factor?
Shikha: sbsey jada mujhe sunrise inspire karta hai uskey baad kbhi kisi article se bhi inspire hoti hu , nature ko deeply observe karti hu, apney aas paas ke cheez se achanak se motivate ho jati hu.
RNG: Aha…! Sunrise and nature inspire you to write. I myself have a weakness for sunrise and sunsets. I really don’t know how many clicks I have of them. 😉 How long does it take you to write a poem/article?
Shikha: kabhi toh 5 minute mai aur kabhi 15 to 20 minute mai is sey jada smay kabhi nhi lgta, dimag mai agar kuchh click kar gya toh 2 minute mai bhi likh leti hu.
RNG: That’s great! 2 mins to 20 mins at the max. Of late I went through a writer’s block. trust me I really had to drag my dead brain out of it. What is your work schedule like when you’re writing?
Shikha: saarey kaam apney smay par hotey rahte hai unhi kaam ke beech mai se samay churati hu likhney ke liye.
RNG: 😉 That’s something that I do with 3 dogs, teaching, cooking and recreational sports. Mostly I work on my blog when all sleep in the afternoon or at night. So Shikha, what would you say is your interesting writing quirk?
Shikha: Mera koi ek style nhi hai jis trah ke thought dimag mai aatey hai uskey according likhti hu kabhi POEM, kabhi PROSE kabhi rythmic form mai PROSE shayad usey PROSETRY kahtey hai .
RNG: Me too… I keep oscillating between poetry, prosetry, and quotes. No fixed regime. I write as my pen wills. When did you write your first poem/article and how old were you?
Shikha: Mai school time par debate, discussion ke liye likha karti thi khud se first article 15 teen year ke age mai likha tha.
RNG: Oh great! at 15 years writing an article for debate was a jolly good start I must say. How many poems/articles have you written till now? Can you share a few links to your favourite articles or a few lines of a poem close to your heart with our readers?
Shikha: Apney blog par toh mainey 60 post likhi hai ,iskey alawa mujhe yaad nhi mainey kabhi count nhi kiya, morning quote ke alawa doosrey bloggers ke comment box par bhi mainey kai poem likhi hai shayad 150ya issey jada he hoga .mujhe apni sabhi post achhi lagti hai kyunki mainey jo bhi likha hai usey dil se likha hai aur apni traf se poora afford diya hai.
RNG: What do you like to do when you’re not writing?
Shikha: Reading, cooking karna khud khana aur sbko khilana achha lgta hai iske alawa nature ke saath time spend karna aur bachho ke saath khelna bhi psand hai.
RNG: Reading, cooking and gardening. A great way to spend time when you are not writing. Tell us about your most recent work and who inspired you?
Shikha: Most recent work mera blog he hai uski inspiration mujhe family aur friends se he mili hai.
RNG: Family and friends can be great motivators. What is your motto in life?
Shikha: paristhiti kaisi bhi ho positive attitude ke saath khush rahne ke koshish karna chahiye.
RNG: I must say that the positive attitude you have towards your life and the positivity that reflects in your work is commendable. You have a lot of followers to your blog how did you do this? Was there ever a time when you had fewer followers? How did you get more?
Shikha: Doosrey bloggers ke post ko pdhney ke baad like aur comment karna he no ko bdhata hai, normaly blogging ke duniya ek doosrey ko saath le kar chlney ke ooper he nirbhar karti hai.
RNG: Very true. That’s a very good practice. reading and commenting on other bloggers post is a very nice thing. i myself di it but sometimes i’m guilty of just putting a like due to the constraint of time. According to you what are the top 3 factors that one has to keep in mind while trying to write a successful blog post?
Shikha: sabse pahli baat originalty rahni chahiye, Dil se likhna chahiye woh kisi post ko pdhney ke baad dikhta hai, shabd saral aur sahaj likhney chahiye.
RNG: I absolutely love your viewpoints. Originality in writings and thoughts and simple vocabulary are indeed the key points to make a blog successful.
